the Last Souls played their first gig on August 16th at a private, outdoor event near Melrose , Scotland. The hour long set featured all new material and, for one day only, it didn’t rain! Opening with the riff-laden Pray for Me, the band played a tight set, finishing with the marathon funk-blues of Darkest Hour. The punked-up Lifeline provided the encore. It was a good gig but perhaps the best contribution of the day was from Cracker the pig.
